decorative finishes and colour consultation
A written guide for decorators outlining colours and type of paints required in a room or a number of rooms. The colours would be sampled insitu beforehand and be complimentary to a new or an existing scheme. The document is a reference and complete instruction guide for your decorators.
Viewing architects' plans to maximise the potential of a space is very effective. I have found my input at this stage to be particulary helpful if the new building work is unusual or if the structure is combining existing with new.
There are always additional design details to consider too, leaving the project manager to focus on any building work and ensuring the efficient running of a job.
Choosing a combination of suitable fabrics for furniture and furnishings and presenting a mood board is a useful tool for showing a client how and where to use fabrics for maximum effect.
Choosing furniture, furnishings and lighting is the final stage of an interior, although it is often necessary to combine this stage with the 'viewing plans' option if lighting plans and electrical decisions have to be made in a new build or extension. This module also covers liaising with sub-contractors regarding any bespoke commisions.
I source from various places to avoid an 'over designed' feel. I include pieces from e-auctions and Ebay as well as new pieces to create individual interiors.
I have created this flexible interior design service to accomodate any budget and give clients a collection of modules to choose from. The selection also depends on the type of work being carried out. Pricing is tailored to each client's requirements and to the scale of the project.
Fixed prices will be given for each room reflecting the chosen modules, except for the sourcing section, which will be a percentage fee added to the sub-contractor's fee or to the piece of furniture sourced. There are no hidden costs.
